Heather Sample Gosse
Heather Sample Gosse, RSLP, PhD, is a Project Associate with the Canadian Centre for Research on Literacy at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta and a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City. A Canadian- and American-certified speech-language pathologist with ten years of experience working with preschool and school-age children, Heather recently completed her PhD. in Elementary Education at the University of Alberta where she won several awards and published on her joint research on family literacy. Dr. Sample Gosse's research interests focus on refining roles for speech-language pathologists in literacy issues and designing speech-language pathology service delivery systems to be facilitative of evidence-based practice.
